Hey there 👋
Welcome to The Pilot’s Logbook, with me Fernando Pinho (a fellow pilot).
The Pilot’s Logbook is a podcast companion for private pilots in the UK and Europe.
Whether you're a seasoned aviator or just starting your journey, The Pilot's Logbook podcast is your one-stop shop for all things personal aviation. Every other week, I’ll bring you practical tips, inspiring chats with pilots and members of our community, gear reviews, and we’ll reveal exciting destinations you can fly directly to.

More About Me
I’m a dad of two wonderful girls and husband to the woman of my dreams ✨ I'm a creative producer with decades of experience in theatre management, production and sound.
Years ago, flying saved me. Literally. Being up in the air gave me a different perspective on our world and helped me find my way out of a tough period in my life.
Today, I’m a private pilot, and I fly my own general aviation aeroplane. I share that experience with my family and I help others when I can.
I run a small tiny charity. We are all volunteers, and since 2015, we’ve been helping children with cancer and their families travel to hospitals. So far, we’ve offered over 8,000 journeys.
My volunteer work has been featured on the BBC and NBC. In 2024, I was a finalist in the BBC Make a Difference Awards.
Besides The Pilot’s Logbook, I also produce Travel Plans, a podcast that is part toolkit, part love letter to travel, offering a deep dive into each destination with curated guides, immersive podcasts and live Q&A.
